And the first meetings of the folk dance group “Novakovtsi”, organized by the “Garden of Cognition” Foundation kicked off! For the third week now, folklore has taken over the hall of the loca retirement club and the hearts of all the villagers. The magic of dance and Novakovtsi traditions, history and customs echo in every step of the people. During the meetings, the participants enjoyed “horo” dances from the Thracian, Rhodope and Pirin regions. Young people from Plovdiv visited and will visit the group in the future, reinforcing the idea of continuity and care between generations. Novakovtsi is a spring of folklore, customs and traditions that we will all continue to absorb and spread with delight! Group practices continue every Friday at 7pm at the local retirement club. Anyone interested in joining is welcome to do so!
