During the summer months, the folk dance and Bulgarian folklore unceasingly conquer “Iskrentsi” and “Novakovtsi” and their villages and inhabitants.
More than 20 folk people, over 40 involved people from both and the surrounding villages andtwice as many viewers, listeners, passers-by!
The folk dance groups “Iskrentsi” and “Novakovtsi” of Foundation “Garden of Cognition” continue to fill the megdana with their charge, inspiration and life, which every Saturday the whole village expects and gathers!
The last, and the following weeks, the songs announcing folk songs are part of the challenge to all participants to share their favorite Bulgarian folk song.
Already this Friday, and in the coming weeks, expect successive performances of the groups that aim not only to represent learned people, but also the idea of unification and community!
If you want to enjoy their magical dance, come to the traditional assembly in the village of Iskra on August 16 (Friday) at 8:00 p.m.
The weekly meetings are organized by Foundation ” Garden of Cognition”and are open to any beginner or advanced, curious or interested bystander who wants to feel the magic of dance, fill their heart and soul with faith and hope and become a part from one mission!
Until the end of August, which marks the end of the dance season, rehearsals will be held as follows:
August 24 and 31 – from 6 p.m. group “Iskrentsi” in the community center building; from 7:30 p.m. “Novakovtsi” group at the center/kindergartens of the village.
Expect the new season from September!
