The folk dance groups “Novakovtsi” and “Iskrentsi” at Foundation “Garden of Cognition” do not miss a Saturday in which they do not delight and inspire someone’s heart!
The group meetings continue in the coming weeks every Saturday:
– 5:00 p.m. group “Iskrentsi” in the ritual hall of the Chitalishte in the village of Iskra;
– 6:30 p.m. group “Novakovtsi” in the local club in the village of Novakovo.
The groups celebrated the end of the year with numerous activities on the eve of the Christmas holidays. They recalled the moments during the year together, shared their personal motivation to be in the hall every Saturday, told everyone their most intimate memories and dreams related to folk dances, but most of all, they once again proved the power of unity and unification, the main goal of our weekly meetings and conversations!
At the end of this year we are happy to share about the successes of our groups:
– over 25 learned people from the Rhodope, Thracian, Shopian, Dobrudzha, Severnyashki and Mediterranean regions;
– over 30 involved in the idea of Bulgarian villages and the mission to revive them and be active in the lives of the locals;
– over 45 Saturdays of inspiration, charge, emotion and sharing!
