In the period from August 11 to 17, the team of Foundation “Garden of Cognition” in partnership with the Irish organization Kerry Diocesan Youth Service (KDYS) implemented a joint project for youth mobility under the Erasmus + program.
Ten young people from Bulgaria visited Ireland where they had the opportunity to meet their peers and exchange experiences by participating in a series of exciting training sessions and workshops based on non-formal education methods and approaches. The program was extremely diverse and fruitful related to the topic of climate change. The activities were based on the themes of teamwork, leadership, environmental protection, recycling, composting, volunteering campaigns and actions.
The project aims to raise environmental awareness among young people aged 15-18, and the planned activities are implemented in stages in both countries. With the implementation of a series of initiatives and actions, young people are expected to influence their surroundings in a positive way.
We expect our new friends from Ireland to visit us at the end of October, when together we will hold an international youth exchange with an ecological focus.
