We are delighted to share that in 2025, ten talented and highly motivated young people from across Bulgaria were awarded full university scholarships!
Each of them graduated from secondary school with outstanding academic results.
In addition, our scholarship recipients actively participate in civic and volunteer initiatives, support youth activities, and contribute to youth policies at both regional and national levels.
The Ignatovi Family Foundation and the Garden of Knowledge Foundation joined forces to create the “Support for the Future: Education, Courses, and Internships for Young People” Program. Their shared mission and commitment brought them together to contribute their experience toward building a strong and united community of young people in Bulgaria.
Meet our scholarship recipients:
- Arzu Muharem from Kardzhali received a scholarship to continue her education at the Technical University of Varna, majoring in Computer Systems and Technologies.
- Aleksandar Chuchulski from Rakovski was awarded a scholarship and continued his academic journey at the Medical University of Plovdiv, studying Medicine.
- Burchin Salimehmedova from Kuklen received a scholarship to pursue her education and share her knowledge with future generations by studying Primary School Pedagogy with a Foreign Language at Paisii Hilendarski University of Plovdiv.
- Krasimir Yuliyanov from Dobrich is successfully studying and developing his skills at New Bulgarian University in Sofia, majoring in Tourism.
- Nikol Petrova from Novi Iskar is pursuing her preferred field of study, Tourism, at the University of Economics – Varna.
- Maria Cherkezova from Sliven chose the Technical University of Varna to explore the exciting field of Cybersecurity.
- Melis Mustafa from Dobrich received a scholarship to study one of the most challenging disciplines, Automation, Information and Control Engineering, at the Technical University of Sofia.
- Simona Vasileva from Sliven was admitted to her dream program, Bulgarian Philology, at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski.”
- Stoyan Stoilov from Sliven continues his education in Sofia at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, majoring in Computer Engineering.
- Rohin Hatkar is continuing his academic and professional development at a university in Canada.
In addition to financial support, the scholarship recipients have the opportunity to participate in an educational and mentoring program designed to help them further develop their knowledge and skills.
