An event was held that the village of Novakovo, its inhabitants and all children and youth will remember for a long time!
On 14 October, the “Garden of Cognition” Foundation joined the Eurodesk network’s “Time to move 2023” campaign with the first ever youth camp in the village “In search of skills around the foothills of the Rhodopes montain”. Children and young people from the town of Plovdiv, region and village Novakovo took part in completing group missions. Team “Entrepreneurs” and team “Presenters” visited and explored some of the most remarkable places in the village, had a number of conversations with local residents, created businesses, promotional videos, gave ideas for the improvement of the village, shared with their friends the opportunities provided by the Eurodesk network and what not!
Creativity, dancing, stories from the village’s past, breathtaking views, teamwork, smiling and welcoming newcomers, inspired and enthusiastic young people, opportunities to travel abroad, knowledge and skills gained, lots of memories – that’s how the day went, full of mystery missions all around the village and its countryside!
A celebration of youth and a quest to “stir up” small towns and all who live in them!
The event is organized by the “Garden of Cognition” Foundation as part of the “Time to move” campaign, organized by the Eurodesk Multipliers Network in Bulgaria and Europe, which aims to inform young people about all opportunities for travel and learning mobility. The event also marks the European Year of Skills 2023.
