During their stay in the city of Plovdiv, our young people went through countless trainings and challenges on the topic of climate change, environmental protection, preservation of natural resources and youth commitment. The participants in the exchange got to know the activities and the team of Youth Center Plovdiv, where they were welcomed by Nikolay Buhalov – Deputy Mayor “Sports and Youth Activities” and two-time Olympic champion in canoe-kayak. On the last day of their journey into the world of non-formal education, the young people had the opportunity to race dragon boats on the waters of Rowing Canal Plovdiv.
The project aims to raise environmental awareness among young people aged 15-18, and the planned activities are implemented in stages in both countries. With the implementation of a series of initiatives and actions, young people are expected to influence their surroundings in a positive way.
