Educational biogarden
Educational biogarden
The educational biogarden is a green classroom where children learn to grow not only their own food, but also get to know through personal experience the qualities and properties of natural materials and elements.
It is extremely useful and interesting for every child, and also for adults, to trace the full life cycle of a natural material – from growing, for example, a grain crop and its full utilization, from turning the grains into flour and bread for the table, from straw into a straw bale with which a home can be built and composting the leftovers, to turning them into fertile soil. The creation and cultivation of an educational biogarden is based on the philosophy and approaches of Permaculture design and biodynamic agriculture.
The external trainings that are held in this place are extremely valuable and useful, as children include all their senses in the processes. The knowledge and skills that are acquired during these outdoor activities remain traces for a lifetime.
Our educational team has created two bio-gardens, where they conduct hundreds of training sessions with children and young people.
